Вручая ведомственную награду, Р. Алханов отметил заслуги Салаха-хаджи Межиева на пути Первого Президента ЧР, Героя России Ахмата-Хаджи Кадырова, во благо нашего народа. По словам министра, всю свою жизнь С. Межиев посвятил служению Всевышнему, призывая людей творить добро и прививая им любовь к религии.

«Не имея оружия в руках, сегодня Вы стоите на переднем крае борьбы с терроризмом и экстремизмом, говоря только правду и бескомпромиссно отстаивая интересы мусульман. Долгие годы, распространяя знания о подлинном Исламе, Вы боретесь с теми, кто в корыстных целях использует нашу религию. Благодаря Вашей трудоемкой работе многие лжеидеологи выведены на «чистую воду», тем самым спасены сотни молодых людей, которые подвергались их влиянию и едва не пополнили ряды бандподполья», - сказал Руслан Алханов.

В свою очередь муфтий ЧР выразил благодарность министру внутренних дел за доверие и честь быть удостоенным данной наградой.
